Our origin
Born in Norte del Cauca
Santander de Quilichao, Cauca. Over 1,700 meters above sea level, where mist and sun take turns nurturing every plant. This generous land is where DOMAC coffee is born.

Don Marco Antonio Alegría Cerón · Founder
A legacy born in the field
Don Marco Antonio Alegría Cerón was born in La Sierra, Cauca — land of mountains, mist, and coffee.
He trained as an extensionist in Chinchiná, Caldas, learning directly from the National Coffee Growers Federation the art of producing an exceptional cup.
For decades he traveled Norte del Cauca, teaching small coffee growers the techniques that make Colombian coffee great.
Today, alongside his children and grandchildren, he continues working to bring that bold, joyful flavor — "the kind that makes the soul happy," as he puts it — to those who truly appreciate it.

In Norte del Cauca, coffee is more than a crop — it is hope. Campesino families, indigenous and Afro communities have found in coffee a reason to plant futures in a land that has known conflict. DOMAC works alongside them: fair exchange, land-caring practices, and a cup that brings their effort to the world.
